Ava's Summer Clothes Haul

I do apologize for not writing a blog post in months! I just really haven't had time or motivation to do it. I nearly gave it all together but I've decided to give it another go. I think the main thing is i need a better camera etc which will make me want to do it. Fingers crossed ill be getting one soon and i can stop using my iphone as a blog camera.

Over the past few weeks I've been doing a lot of shopping online and in stores for my daughters 'summer wardrobe' plus all of her old clothes were size 12-18 and shes growing so quickly and is now into 18-24. Some are quite large but i wasn't going to buy a smaller size as shes 21 months old now so i'm just going with the age.

These two items are from H&M and they was super cheap. The thin summer strawberry top was about £2.99 and the shorts £4.99 which is amazing! The only thing i find with H&M clothing is that there quite large fittings which i don't mind as i know Ava will last in them a while. I'd rather them be a little bit big than too small.

Now these swimsuits have to be the cutest things on earth! They should of been £10 each from Debenhams but i got them for £4.00 & £5.00 Each online. There by Bluezoo. One has a lolly pop design on and the other a duck design with pink legs.

These denim essentials are from Sainsburys and again really good with their prices, not one of these items was above £9 which is fabulous! I couldn't find a decent denim jacket and a pair of dungarees anywhere which wasn't overly expensive. I just don't see why spending over £15 on a denim jacket which wont last very long when i can get one for £9.

You cant judge our weather in the UK so i wasn't just going to be buying shorts and vests i knew i wanted some jeggings, jeans, leggings just for the days where it was going to be a big cooler. The left pair is from Primark and on the right are from Zara which have a dragonfly pattern running through them. These were all bought from in store. The dungaree dress was from Matalan. I love things that i can either put tights under or leggings or have bare. They come in handy loads as they can last ages and are suited for most of the seasons.

Shoes from Mothercare £10, Hat from Next £7

The vest and shorts set are from Mothercare which i got online, The vests are a set of 3 for £8 and the shorts are in a set of 3 for £10 but they range on prices with different sizes. The larger size the higher priced it is. There super soft material and perfect for the summer sun.

The largest of the haul is from Next. I've really fallen in love with there toddler/children clothes. Its priced reasonable on most items, some can be a little expensive. The top on the left was £7 and the hareems on the right was £6 each or 2 for £10 which is a offer they have on quite a lot. Like the dresses below which was on that same offer. I did get 5 of these but 2 are in the wash as its been a 2 shop collection for them. I got a pink striped one same as the turquoise and a grey one with dark navy animal pattern on. The shorts fabulous at £8.50 they have a adjustable waist and can be worn in autumn/winter with tights/leggings with is fabulous and same with dresses they can be worn with leggings or tights.

Like i said earlier i'm not just buying vests/shorts for summer so i bought lots of leggings and tshirts for the colder days which can go with jeans/dresses/dungarees etc. The leggings are £3.50 each or a pack of 2 for £6 but they only come in certain colours in the packs. The tshirts range from £4.99-£7.99 each. depends if you get plain or patterned.

The coat below is a raincoat with a soft striped material on the inside but its quite thin so perfect for the days we get rain but its not really cold outdoors. Its in the same print as a top i showed earlier and they did lots of shorts etc which matched. The coat has a hood too and was £15

Last but not least, i got her some jelly sandals which will be perfect for the beach and they actually fit her perfect! I really struggle with shoes for Ava as shes funny in sizes. Shes usually a size 5 euro 22 but in next size 5 is a euro 21.5. I tried some jelly shoes on from Sainsburys which was a size 5 euro 22 but they was too large. So when i saw these was a 21.5 euro i had a feeling they was going to be a smaller fitting and they are so they fit perfect! They are £6.

Also you can get Converse from Next but i decided to get them from Schuh. I couldn't make my mind up about getting some converse for her as there quite expensive for a pair of shoes at £25 that might not last that long as toddlers feet are growing all the time. In the end i got some for her but in a size 6 because that's a euro 22 and size 5 was a euro 21 which i knew was going to be too small. Only thing is we tried them on and there a little bit big. So size 5 is too small and size 6 is a little too big. But at least i know shes going to grow into them and they will eventually fit.

(she has more shoes than me now)
