Day at the farm!

This post is a little late up but I've been trying to enjoy the sunshine as long as possible and play outside with my little girl and her daddy as we haven't really been doing that because of the terrible weather and my partner working so we try to spend as much family time together as we can, whilst we can.

Monday after Easter we took our little girl to Farmer Copleys which was fabulous. Its the first time taking her to a farm and the first time we had ever been there. What a beautiful place! .. plus it was FREE!

We set off pretty early around 10.30am to get there for roughly 11am so we could have a little walk round and grab some dinner, the weather was gorgeous which made it perfect for our little trip out.

It was super busy but we managed to get parked up and had a walk to some baby sheep which we could stroke through the fences in the barn. One of the sheep where pretty hungry and tried to nibble my fingers but they was so cute and Ava loved it.

Once we had a lovely little stroll around we managed to get Ava in her stroller as she was getting tired of walking and we got sat down outside of the cafe as inside was packed. We ordered lasagna, steak pie and spagetti with homemade tomato sauce for us all. Ava had most of my lasagna and garlic bread. The meal tasted so fresh as all the meat will be from animals at the farm.

(The shops sold EVERYTHING fresh! and i mean everything from fruit and veg to meat!) amazing!

When we had finished our meal we decided to call at a little shop and get some daffodils which i had wanted over the Easter period, it really reminds me of spring and gets me in the mood.

After the shop we headed over to check out some of the events which was going on but they was more for older children as there was a giant inflatable slide and a ride along tractor you can sit in and painting and crafts. But Ava just loved looking at everything and being nosey as he usual self.

It was a fantastic day as we havent had a family day out in ages as my partner sometimes works 12 hours and its been really rubbish weather. So we dropped on really and it was perfect!
