Easter Sunday // What we did?

Our Easter Sunday was amazing, last year we didn't really do much as Ava was too young to really understand. She couldn't eat loads of chocolate and get creative. So this year was much more fun! plus her daddy wasn't working which made it 10 times better as we could have a family day too.

First on Saturday night i set up all Ava's Easter eggs and gifts on the sofa so when she woke up Sunday morning she could see all what shes got.

She got mostly chocolate eggs, The dolly was from http://www.mrshhandmadeandmore.bigcartel.com i totally recommend them, the dolls are great and most of them you can create yourself and add more items to. She also got a Frozen football, some pretend make up and a story book with a little dolly.

Once we had all got dressed and sorted we started to do some baking and made some chocolate Easter egg nests. I remembered doing these when i was a child.

They was so scrummy and Ava loved getting involved!

After baking we made some sensory/discovery bottles.

These are so much fun but quite tricky, especially as ava just wanted the bottle lids off all the time. 1st one had feathers and coins in 2nd one has pasta and rice 3rd food colouring with glitter and water and 4th sunflower oil with water and food colouring with glitter and 5th same again but with shaving foam instead of oil and last one had just paint in which had been shaken about.

Once we had made these we went outside to play and Ava helped cut the grass with daddy. The weather was gorgeous for a change so we made the most of it.

We ended the day with painting in the garden, a lovely warm bath then bed.
